Global Entrepreneurship Week: BREW IV Open House

CORNCOB Inc. was recently recognized amongst its peers during Global Entrepreneurship Week at the ‘BREW IV’ Open House at the Global Water Center located in Milwaukee, WI. The special event, held by the Water Council, allowed attendees to network and meet the CORNCOB II inventors and also witness the ceremonial check presentation.

Alongside a $50,000 equity investment from the Water Council, CORNCOB Inc. received accelerator space in the Global Water Center and leadership from industry experts as well as acclaimed academic research teams through the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Institute for Water Business.

After a comprehensive application and judging process CORNCOB Inc. was one of six global water startup companies chosen for induction into the ‘BREW 4’ global accelerator program. Recipients were publicly announced at this year’s Water Summit by the Wisconsin Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch.

The Water Council is capturing the attention of the world and transforming the Milwaukee, WI region into a world Water Hub for freshwater research by cultivating innovative water entrepreneurs, acclaimed academic research programs and most importantly, some of the nation’s brightest and most energetic water professionals. The CORNCOB team is proud and honored to be part of this cultivating water-changing group.
